Job Description

Salary: $104,650 - 189,175 per year Requirements:

  • Requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Hold an active security certification that meets DOD 8570 IAT level II or higher (e.g., Security+).
  • Must hold an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Must be able to commute to Scott AFB, IL, Ft. Meade, MD, SATX DISA facility, or Ogden, UT for onsite/offsite hybrid support.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4-8 years of professional experience; or 2-6 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience with the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure.
  • At least 2 years of experience with APIs, JSON, and Python.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and self-assign work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team, including the ability to clearly articulate status and present to both customers and program leadership.
  • Ability to develop and present management-level briefings.
  • Demonstrate potential and willingness to learn and adapt to rapid changes in technology.
  • Open to receiving mentoring from senior developers.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the standup, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow’s ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM modules.
  • Assist with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON files, and Python scripts.
  • Create and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, Groups, and Roles.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports.
  • Create and configure tool integrations with ServiceNow (e.g., Elastic, Netcool, Kafka).
  • Coordinate and support application and platform upgrades.
  • Assist with the design, creation, and cataloging of business process flows.
  • Work with other members of the ServiceNow development team to propose solutions based on business needs and strategies.
  • Perform necessary tasks to design and configure ServiceNow functions to meet operational needs.
  • Support business process re-engineering activities to move ticketing and order management capabilities into ServiceNow.
  • Identify trends and patterns in customer data to enhance customer experience and improve network performance.
  • Interact with customers to address Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated issues or conflicts.
  • Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Orchestrate and automate tasks.
  • Design and build ServiceNow applications and integrations, adhering to best practices in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Provide ongoing development and project oversight, collaborating with team members.
  • Maintain documentation best practice policies, procedures, and processes throughout ServiceNow development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input for ongoing ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support.
  • Review and integrate UI/UX requirements from external and internal teams into ServiceNow development.
  • Utilize available programming methodologies and languages while adhering to coding standards, procedures, and techniques, contributing to technical code documentation.
  • Support data migration as needed.
  • Design and implement solutions following established Configuration Management policies and standards.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into a unified CMDB, maintaining data quality and integrity.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to grow and enhance skills from senior developers throughout each project.
