R&M is looking for a team-oriented Graphic Designer to support expansion of our graphic design team.
As a member of the R&M team, the Graphic Designer will provide support in print and digital graphic communications to the firm’s marketing and professional staff in implementing initiatives that support R&M’s vision, mission and core values, and our well-established branding initiatives.
As a member of the R&M team, the Graphic Designer will provide exemplary personalized service to the Marketing Department’s internal clients: the Engineering, Planning, Earth Sciences, Construction Services and Geomatics Departments within R&M. As a member of the marketing team, the successful applicant will work with other marketing and administrative professionals, as well as inter-departmentally to support R&M’s professional disciplines in reaching their marketing, communications and project goals.
This is an on-site position, based in R&M’s Anchorage office.
The Graphic Designer will be expected to actively participate and represent R&M in professional organizations (such as the Society for Marketing Professional Services and/or American Institute of Graphic Arts) and community activities.
The Graphic Designer will report to R&M’s Senior Graphic Designer.

The successful applicant will be able to work in supervised or unsupervised settings, either alone or with group interaction, and will possess strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal abilities.
R&M works in a collaborative team environment and provides high quality work products that meet the needs of our internal and external clients, facilitates their goals and business targets, and are in line with our vision, mission and core values. The ideal applicant will be a team player with an understanding of graphic design principles (design, typography, color theory, composition), and the ability to multi-task and be flexible to handle constantly changing priorities. Strong graphic, verbal and written communication skills, precise attention to detail, excellent computer skills, creativity, positive attitude and a sense of humor are required.
All candidates should have good interpersonal abilities and a collaborative mindset for working in a dynamic team environment. Applicants must have a valid Alaska driver’s license.
