Job Description The EVS/Floor Technician maintains assigned patient and non-patient areas in a clean and sanitary condition by performing specialized cleaning tasks, which involve operating heavy-duty equipment and using special cleaning equipment. Responsibilities will include the following: - Stripping and waxing floors - Cleaning carpets - maintenance of the floors - Cleaning stairs - Scrubbing - Cleaning patient rooms - Room turnover - Making beds - Throwing away trash Pay rate - $15/hr We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements - Experience working in a cleaning position and comfortable doing this work as the primary task of your new position - Previous floor care experience required for the afternoon and Lead shifts - Great customer service skills and ability to interact with hospital staff - Have reliable transportation to get to work and comfortable with the commute to the hospital on a daily basis - Have the willingness to be trained up properly - Open to working week days and weekends if needed - Floor cleaning experience at a hospital or healthcare company null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
