Need to Know:

Schedule - Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay - $20 to $28 (will go higher for the right candidate)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops programs and fixturing for Haas Mills, Haas Lathes, Bridgeport type mills, and other manual machine centers (Drill press, band saw, etc.).
• Partners with Engineering to design and build fixtures.
• Coaches/instructs machine operators in proper set-up and run procedures for new parts.
• Creates machine set-up sheet instructions including tool lengths and work offsets.
• Responsible for machining parts to print, adjusting tool offsets and checking own work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-7 years of Machine Shop experience preferred
• Technical School certificate/degree preferred.
• Experience programming or using the following technologies:
• “C” axis and live tooling on HAAS CNC Lathes
• Haas controls and G & M codes.
• GibbsCam programming software.
• AutoDesk Vault drafting software.
• Mill's “A” axis a plus.
• Must be able to read, follow and understand blueprints, methods and procedural instructions.
• Ability to identify common raw materials, proper tooling and work-holding devices
• Competent with typical measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers, indicators, and edge finders).
• Must be able to stand for long periods in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Regularly required to stand, bend and reach and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
